Lorrita Williams is a local legend and beloved basketball coach in the Central District. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1978, after playing all four years on the girls’ varsity basketball team. She went on to play basketball in college in Tennessee.
For many years, Coach Williams has been an important mentor, coach, and inspiration to local basketball players. She is tenacious on and off the court! It is time to honor her.
