Unbroken Chains THE REBEL

This poem is dedicted to the unbroken chain of black poets who have given us a legacy of poetic treasure to share;Also, to the Legacy of Fitzgerald Beaver, the Founder of The Facts Newspaper in Seattle WA.

THE REBEL When I die I'm sure Iwill have a Big Funeral . . . Curiosity seekers . . . coming to see If I am really Dead . . . or just trying to make Trouble . The author of this poem is Marie Evans. She is a native of Toledo, Ohio. Besides poetry ,she has has been a song writer,choir director, and producer and director of plays.She has also taught at Spellman College in Atlanta and various other Universities in the United States of America. Ms. Evans has been a strong link of the Unbroken Chain of Black Poetry. . .
