Wilbert Leon Dowell, Jr January 27, 1956 -July 4, 2024 Wibert passed away peacefully on Thurs day, July 4, 2024, in Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Lee Dowell and Wilbert L. Dowell, Sr, brother James Dowell; sisters, Johnnie Mae Williams and Annie Lee Dowell; stepfather, Homer Christopher 3rd; Lydia Cassey, mother of his only child. Wilbert is survived by a daughter, Nakia Omisha Dowell; grandchildren, Claron, Curtis, King, and Anzayla; sisters, Tinnie Madison, Doreatta (Dora) Hardeman and Omisher Dowell; long-time partner Barbara; 2 children, Tia and Chika. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the Seattle/ Tacoma areas. Wilbert will be truly missed. A celebration of Jr's life will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024, 1-3 pm @ Rainier Beach Commu nity Center, 8825 Rainier South, Seattle, WA 98118, 206-386-1925.
