Northwest Folklife is an independent nonprofit arts organization that celebrates the intergenerational, multicultural arts, traditions, and heritage of the Pacific Northwest.

Northwest Folklife creates opportunities for all to celebrate, share, and participate in the evolving cultural traditions of the Pacific Northwest.

Northwest Folklife presents the 51st Annual Northwest Folklife Festival, a community-powered celebration of the music, arts, and heritage that make up the brilliant cultural tapestry of the greater Pacific Northwest! With more than 2200 artists, 16 stages, 200 vendors, 100+ cultural communities, 700 volunteers, hours of participatory dance, and up to 250,000 annual attendees, this remains one of the nation's largest and last access-for-all festivals.

What’s new this year?

  • 16 stages with over 2200 performers representing over 100+ cultural communities

  • 22 food vendors representing flavors from all around the world

  • 100 local craft & import vendors

  • New Venue: the Welcome Stage

  • Hybrid Programming: The Quilt Sessions and Folklife Film Forum

  • Maker’s Space


  • With no tickets and no gates, the Northwest Folklife Festival is committed to access for all. There is a suggested donation of $20 per person.
