Rodger Anthony Pegues, 62, of Seattle, Washington died December 13, 2022 at University Hospital ICU, Seattle. He was born in Seattle, WA on May 7, 1960 to Thelma Jacobs Pegues and J.D. Pegues. His love of and talent for music began at age 10 and endured throughout his life. He was an outstanding keyboard player, vocalist, and composer. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1978 and studied at Cornish School for the Allied Arts. A Seattle resident, he also lived for a time in Hong Kong and Macao, and Los Angeles. He is survived by his sisters Cheryl Pegues and Linda Leverett, and loving group of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His leaving us too soon is truly heartbreaking. We will celebrate Rodger’s life and musical legacy in the biggest way possible at a memorial jam session TBA for August 2023.
