Demeka Ajourdee Christina Green passed away peacefully in her home, August 21, 2021. She was born January 5, 1979 to the union of William B Green and Brenda C Green at Swedish Hospital, Seattle, WA. She attended Franklin High School and Bellevue Community College.
Demeka held several banking and customer service positions over the years, however as an ordained Minister, she served the Lord with true passion. A lifelong member of Manifested Glory Ministries, Kent, WA, she put her many gifts and talents on display. Her praise dances were so anointed that she was requested many times over for her performances. She also acted in plays, lead bible studies, prayer groups and was a reliable youth leader.
Her tough but kind grandmother, Audrey
Bascomb Carter, gave her in-home etiquette classes where she learned to: act, dress and speak as a “lady”. Lessons she has demonstrated throughout her life. She now rejoins her and her beloved mother, Brenda Green Taylor in heaven. Knowing Brenda and Demeka , you know how inseparable they were, and in heaven the two “Diva Angels” will continue to be late to everything, but sure know how to make a grand entrance! Demeka was a beautiful soul and to know her was absolutely to love her. Known as “Meek” and “Meeka” , sister; mom, she will be missed forever. The Green and Bascomb families have suffered a tremendous loss. Demeka leaves her Father William B Green; her children: Alexis and Sayvion Johnson; Majacue and
Delano Gregory; her siblings DeAndre Green; Millia Jimerson and William Jayson Green (deceased 2021).and a host of relatives and friends both near and far.
