In Loving Memory of Bernda L. Bacani

Bernda Bacani was born and raised in Seattle, WA. She was a Garfield High School Graduate and attended Western WA University and The UW Law school before she began her career as a Prosecuting Attorney for King County until she retired. She was always an active community member wherever she lived from Campfire, PTA and youth soccer to her current volunteer work with tutoring kids at the library and elementary schools and volunteering at Southeast Seattle Senior Center.
As a parent she had an unconditional love for all 3 of her children treating them equally always. She had an immense love for her friends and family as well, always ready to help anyone no matter the circumstances.
Thank you everyone for all the stories and memories you have of her she would be touched to know she meant so much to so many people.
She is survived by her daughters Vanessa Kohr and Melanie Jack. Her grandchildren Brandon, Mikaela, Devin, Otis and Gabriela. Her sister Nina Bacani and brother Urbano Bacani Jr and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Mateo Jack, sister Catalina Bacani and brothers Timothy and Rodney Bacani.
Celebration of Life will be held 10/26/2022 at Greenwood Memorial Park & Funeral Home 350 Monroe Ave NE Renton, WA 98056 starting at 11 AM, reception will follow.
