In Loving Memory of Vanessa Lamb

Lifetime Seattle, Washington resident Vanessa Lamb passed away September 12, 2023. Born to the union of Thomas and Annie Lamb on May 12, 1971, Vanessa was a 1989 graduate of Garfield High School. An active union member and supporter, Vanessa was involved with Laborers 242, Teamsters 117, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 483, and was the Recording Secretary for the Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC) Frederick Simmons Seattle Chapter. Driven to help others, Vanessa was active in pre-apprenticeship in construction and trades, including SVI-PACT and was an administrator for PACE. A supporter of social justice, the LGBTQ+ community, and minority -owned businesses, Vanessa was passionate about working with disenfranchised people. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alison Gaynes, Vanessa is survived by her eternal partner, Sean Bagsby, brothers Michael and Jason (Nicole) Lamb, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.”
