In Loving Memory of Tyrone Taylor



Tyrone Taylor died unexpectedly, yet peacefully on July 1, 2020 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 54, with his beloved family by his side. Tyrone’s life may have been cut short, but he touched the hearts of many while he was with us.

Tyrone was born on July 4, 1965 in San Bernardino, California, to parents Gene and Viola Cain-Taylor. He matured and thrived along with his two sisters, Delicia Coleman-Morson and Devena Johnson, in Seattle, Washington.


Tyrone’s passion for family continued as an adult, as he added to and grew his own family. Tyrone is forever remembered by wife and soulmate of 16 years, Fonda; His children, the loves of his life, Tanisha, Tyra, and Tyrone II. He will also be dearly missed by numerous relatives and friends.

His family remembers him as a hardworking, charming, funny, Mr. I’ll “fix it” myself father, who encouraged his children to pursue their goals. His life revolved around his beloved wife and three children.


Tyrone was an accomplished cook and fisherman. Tyrone had a passion for sports. He was a witty and competitive individual who loved the Seahawk, and was passionate about watching his son dominate on the field, track and football.


A Celebration of Life was held at 11am Tues. July 7, 2020 at Rosehill Baptist Church 7550 MLK Jr Way Seattle, WA.
