In Loving Memory of Spillman Slack



September 26, 1946 To July 27, 2021

Spillman was born in Seattle WA. He was the youngest of three sons to Mr. Ivory Slack & Mrs. I.D Slack. He graduated from Garfield High. He was very intelligent, and he could type 100 words a minute! He loved to read. Especially the Bible! He worked at Fircrest and the US Post Office. He loved helping people. He took Marshall Arts and went to school with Bruce Lee. He was excellent in this Art that he loved! He was a religious Man. He loved the word of God! He would teach his beliefs about the Lord to anyone that would listen. He loved God!

Spillman is preceded in death by his father and mother, his brothers David, and Luther Slack. His nephew Jeffrey Slack. His Great-nephew Terence Slack & Great-niece Tia Howard.

He is survived by his sister in-law Mary Slack. His niece Regina Slack-Reed. His nephews Tony, Randy, David John, Keegan, and Jason & Jonathan Slack. His 1st Cousin’s, Willie Mae, Eddie D and Roosevelt Jones. His great-nieces Emonya, Toya, Randi, Sade’ & Ranata Slack. His great-nephews Geno Howard, Anthony, and Eric, Tony-Randall and Christian Slack.

His great-great nephew Demico Slack. And his great-great nieces Ra'Myiah, Gia'Marie. And a host of more family & friends.

He was loved and will be missed by family & friends! Uncle Spillman is with the LORD that he loved so very much!

I knew him well. He would say, everyone calls me Smokey. And they did. His laugh, his smile, something ironic in his need to be here when the good life was allowed to flourish. A gentleman and all around good guy. A friend.
