In Loving Memory of Ronald "Ronnie" Edward

Griffin Ronald Edward Griffin was born on June 20, 1947, in Seattle, WA, to Alice Griffin Metz. Growing up Ronald loved cowboys, Nat Love, and all genres of music, his favorite being classic rock ( Led Zeppelin, Aaron Neville, and Blues Mahalia Jackson. Ronald also loved literature by James Bald win and Chester B Himes. Ronald always helped and gave sound advice; he loved being there for his baby brother Gregg Griffin and his other siblings, friends, family, and community. Ronald graduated from Frank lin High School in June 1964 as a track star. Ronald attended the United States Air Force from July 1964 to March 1967. Ronald obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Washington and then his master's degree from City University. Ronald would work as a private investigator in Affirmative Action. In 1983, Ronald always supported his daughter in all aspects of their lives, even being there for his nieces and nephews and their children. Ronald would later work for the King County prosecutor's office for Affirmative Action. Ronnie would become an ordained Catholic. Ronnie would retire due to cancer and kidney failure, all the while being a strong advocate in his daughters and seven grandchildren's lives, as well as his siblings, extended family, and friends; he will truly be missed and always loved. Ronald is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Griffin Metz. He leaves to mourn his daughters, Donna and Harriett Griffin; and Companion, Pooh Bear Griffin; and his siblings, Michael, Karen, Jimmy, Jackie, and Gregg Griffin and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts. A special remembrance of his mother, Alice Griffin Metz, his stepson, Dion Hall, and his nephew, Clayton Griffin. Veteran Service will be held on December 27, 2024, at Tahoma National Cemetery located at 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA 98042, at 11:20 AM; Seahawks attire was Ronnie's vision as he loves the Seahawks.
