Pharaoh, affectionately known as “Kai” was the 2nd born to Cedric Prim and Tracy Saunders-Prim, on 9/2/99 at the Kirkland Birthing Center (Assisted by Michelle Sarju).
He attended St. Therese and John Muir Elementaries, Aki Kurose Middle and graduated from Cleveland High in 2018. While enrolled at Cleveland, he also participated in Running Start, attending Seattle Central and Shoreline CC, where he studied Audio Engineering.
Kai Peacefully passed away on 9/27/22, after a 3-year battle with Osteosarcoma Cancer, with Family and Friends by his bedside. He exceeded doctor’s expectations on multiple occasions, after being given 1 month to live in 2019.
As in life, he fought his battle with Cancer on his own terms, living a quality life and doing it his way. He traveled The World and visited many US Cities during his journey; meeting many people, while enjoying his passion for: Art, Business, Debate, Fashion, History, Music, Travel and Sports. His interests were well rounded and included being a Serial Entrepreneur, producing Art, Clothing, Music and his King’s Oil, which he shared with other Cancer patients.
Kai was known for speaking his mind, being honest, trustworthy, caring and passionate about his views, as well as being a good friend to many.
He’s survived by his parents, brothers: Deante Prim, Saint Prim and his sister Lourdes Prim and a host of extended family members.
Kai’s mantra during his journey was “Keep Goin”, which he has now gifted to all of us!!
A Cancer diagnosis is a tough reality; Cierra Sisters lessened our burden, by adopting Kai and our family, providing endless support and advocacy. Please visit their website and consider donating in honor of Kai Prim - https://cierrasisters.org
