In Loving Memory of Nathaniel Armstrong

Nathaniel Harlton Armstrong was born May 2, 1931 in Paris, Texas to Newt & Helen Armstrong who preceded him in death.

He spent his childhood loving family and picking cotton. At 18, he joined the Army and ended up in Seattle, WA.

At a dentist office in Seattle, he met the love of his life, whom he always called Pearl!! They were married, raised 4 children together, experienced many adventures, journeys and loved on each other until Pearl passed in 2011.

Nathaniel was a charismatic and busy man. Some would say, a jack of all trades. While working for the City of Seattle he also owned and maintained MANY rental properties, bowled, traveled the world, tailored clothes, shined shoes, told all kinds of jokes to anyone who would lend an ear, danced, skated and was very active in church activities!! He also had his very unique way of dressing. You could NOT tell him he wasn’t SHARP!!!

Nate lived life to the fullest. He was a man who demanded his respect. What he said is what he meant. And “what is a man without his word”? That was Nate!!!

On July 29, 2021 Nate took his rest. Surrounded by love!!! Him and Pearl are now together again!!!

Greeting him on the other side are his parents, siblings, Pearl his wife and his daughter Linda. Mourning his earthly departure are his children; Lawayne, Phyllis & Deborah. 6 grandchildren, 12 GREAT grandchildren and 12 GREAT GREAT grandchildren to continue his legacy!!!
