In Loving Memory of Mrs. Dorian Duncan Tvo

October 24, 1948 – March 15, 2025 (Age 76)

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Dorian Duncan Tvo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the age of 76. Her life was a testimony to strength, faith, and love—a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Survivors and Preceded By

Dorian is survived by: Her loving brother Michael Gaines; Her devoted children LeMaun Lancaster and Peter Duncan-Bey; Grandchildren: Neliayh Lancaster, Jamila Duncan, Jamal Duncan, Pierce McNeil, Kamaria Carr, and Munir Gregory Duncan.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents Sherman Hutchinson and Leola Haynes Gaines, Step Father Willie Gaines, Her beloved grandson LeMaun “Mauni” Lancaster Jr.

Flowers may be sent/brought to the community center on the day of the service. Or, in honor of Dorian’s life and legacy, the family encourages donations to your favorite organization or simply extend acts of kindness to someone in need—something Dorian never hesitated to do.

A service celebrating Dorian’s life will be held on:

April 1, 2025, 9:30am to Noon, at Rainier Beach Community Center Seattle, Washington
