Mark Brown, passed peacefully from this life on the morning of July 29th at the age of 97. He was born in Edwards, Mississippi to Lillie Gaskew and Eddie Brown on December 13, 1923. Mark served in the CC Camp in the early 1940's, US Navy 1942-1944 and was Honorable Discharged as Seaman 2nd Class. He settled in Washington state and lived the majority of his life in the Central District and Rainier Valley area. Mark is survived by his daughter's, Tina Edwards and Shelia McDonald; and a host of stepchildren, grandchildren, G-grandchildren and GG-grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 19 at 12:30 PM at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park 11111 Aurora Ave N., Seattle WA 98133. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 18th from 10 AM – 4 PM at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park (Chapel Building).
