In Loving Memory of Mildred Inell Jenkins


Mildred Inell Jenkins

Born on February 24, 1950 in Torrance, California, Mildred Inell Jenkins (Inell) was the seventh beloved child of Freddie and Sarah Mae Jenkins. She graduated from Garfield High (1968) and retired from Boeing after more than 25 years of dedicated service. A gifted musician and distinguished servant leader in the Church of God In Christ (COGIC), Inell transitioned from her graceful and purposeful life on earth into God’s eternal presence after a two-year journey with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Her legacy is carried on through her children Anthony (Kim), Marquita, and Michael; grandchildren (Kanoah, Keita, Meilani, Morgan, and Zion), whom she loved with all her heart; and host of loving siblings, nieces, nephews and vast village of church and community family members.

In celebration of her life visitation will be from 3pm through 6pm Friday, May 17, 2024 at Lily of the Valley COGIC 10207 16th Ave SW Seattle WA 98146. Visitation will continue from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am Praise Chapel COGIC 519 3rd St NE, Puyallup, WA 98372.
