In Loving Memory of Michael Berry

Sunrise: November 4, 1959 - Sunset: June 9, 2024 Michael Berry was born in Chicago, Illinois to Herman and Carrie Berry. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother -in-law and friend. He touched the lives of many with his smile, conversation & personality. He attended Leschi, Meany & graduated in 1977 from Garfield High School. He worked @ Todd, Lockheed and Bremerton Shipyards for many years as a pipe fitter. Then he went on to work for The Boeing Company as a mechanic. Michael was preceded in death by his father Herman Berry. He is survived by his loving wife & life long partner of 47 years Laverne LewisBerry, daughter LaQia S. Berry, son, Michael M. Berry, granddaughter Promise Brown, grandson Amar’e Berry, brothers Howard & Gregory Berry (Yolanda), sister Barbara Thornton (Hollis),sister in laws Annette Lewis-Wells (Emmanuel Ray), Ruby Lewis-Becton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & special friends who are too many to name. Michael fought a good fight and praise be to God that his suffering is now over. Viewing will be on Friday, June, 28, 2024 from 1PM-3PM at Personal Alternative Funeral Services 749 Central Ave N., Kent, WA, 98032 Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024 @ 11:00 AM (Viewing from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM) @ Greater Mt.
