La’Quisha Louise Reed was born to Twila Swank and Precious Reed on September 29, 1983, in Seattle, WA. La’Quisha earned her GED at the age of 17. She then went on to pursue a nursing degree at Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. She was introduced to Christ at an early age and has kept him with her throughout her walk-in life. La’Quisha was affectionately called “Chocolate” because of her beautiful complexion and her gorgeous smile. Her smile will never be forgotten, she brightened up any room that she walked into. La’Quisha had one of the purest kindest souls that anyone can have, she was always doing something just to make others happy even if that meant giving away her last dollar.
La’Quisha was also an incredible dancer, her dancing started at a young age. She would dance around for fun until she decided to join the ‘baby nets’ when she was younger. As she grew older, she decided that dancing really wasn’t exactly what she wanted to do and changed her focus more on music. She concluded that rapping was more her passion. She participated in rap battles, beat boxing, and creating her own music for a small period.
La’Quisha is now in heaven alongside her son Honor and brother Precious Reed.
La’Quisha leaves to cherish her memories five beautiful children Ardaja, Heaven, Ocean, JLoyal, and Loyalty. Her mother Twila Whidby and two siblings: Jacola and Mushay and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 9am until time of service at 10am Wed., May 24, 2023, at Restoration Bible Church 228 S 128th St. Seattle, WA 98168.
