John Henry Thomas November 16, 1948 - September 13, 2023 John Henry Thomas, born to Ernest Thomas and Bertha Pinkey Johnson in Shreveport, Louisiana, on November 16, 1948, peacefully departed this earthly life on September 14, 2023, and now rejoices in the presence of the Lord. John's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, his dedication to his community, and his love for his family. John leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished. He is survived by his wife, Luedora Thomas. His children Angela Rice, Jalohn Thomas, Jonathan Williams (Kierra), and Frantasia Johnson (Jewel). He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Thomas, and Bertha Pinkey Johnson, as well as his siblings Patsy Thomas Cooper, Helen Jones Monroe, Aretha Jones Okeke, Betty Jones, Sallie Horton, LeRoy Jones Jr., Jimmy, James, and Ulysses. John also mourned the loss of his son-in-law, Lamont Raytown Rice. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30th, 2023 @11:00AM at New Walk Christian Church, 16241 19th Ave. SW, Burien, WA 98166.
