Fred died at the age of 60 on September 21, 2022 at Washington Care Services after suffering several years with Prostate Cancer. He was born in Seattle, the only child of James Pryor and Willie Mae Franklin, and raised by his loving mother and grandparents Andrew Sr., and Ethel (Big Mama) Franklin.
He started his education at St. Theresa Academy, and graduated from Franklin in 1980. Fred has 3 beautiful children Walter (Seattle, WA), Kiyoshi (Atlanta, GA), and Tyjuan (Federal Way, WA), his father James Pryor (Seattle, WA) his sister Ginger (Arizona) who will cherish the memory.
