His children, Wife and the Entire Sampson Family is saddened to announce with great sorrow the passing death of Eddie after years of health illness. He fought a good fight.
Eddie passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, peacefully in University Place, WA.
Eddie is preceded in death by his sister: Julie L. Sampson, brother: Kenneth R. Sampson, his father: Eddie James Sampson and Mother: Essie Mae Sampson.
Eddie is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Jacqueline Sampson; daughter, Joanne Hightower: son, Michael Sampson; two grandsons DeCorrius Javon Sampson and Marlin Jones Jr: four brothers; Charles Sampson (Mary), Larry Sampson, James Sampson, Learthes Sampson (Blenda); four sisters: Dorothy Sampson, Peggy Collins, Corinthia Sampson, Mary Sampson and a host of nieces, nephews, his favorite dog Biscuit, and loving extended family.

I grew up with Dean in Haynes' Lane and I knew him as a warrior and protector. He was a strong supporter of his family. Above all Eddied Dean loved to joke around and have fun. We had plenty of good times growing up on St. Charles' playground where Dean looked out for all the girls who lived in the Lane. He was very protective of us.
