
Devaughne Janice Cunningham was called to her heavenly rest on February 3, 2025. She was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, moved to Gresham, Oregon, and relocated to Seattle, Washington in 1947.
Devaughne graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, attended Seattle Central College and worked for Frederick & Nelson for 15 years. A faithful member of Ebenezer AME Zion Church, she was well known for her peach cobbler.
Devaughne was preceded in death by her parents the Rev. Floyd Lee Standifer, Genela P. Standifer; husband William G. Cunningham Sr. She was also preceded in death by siblings Floyd Standifer, Katheryne Cooper, James Standifer, Alonzo Standifer. Also preceded in death by son William Cunningham Jr. and grandson Sir. William Cunningham.
She is survived by three children Vaughnette Looney, Retta Bonner, and Gerald Cunningham; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
