Denise Jones was born and raised in Chicago Illinois born on February 19, 1956. She peacefully went to the Lord on November 30, 2023.
She moved her and her child to Seattle in 1993 with no family in the state. She was strong and determined to start a life she always wanted for her and her daughter. She started a career with King County Metro as bus driver where she later retired in 2019 after serving more than 25 dedicated years.
Denise aka Neecy leaves behind her only child and Daughter -Mia Denise Jones (son in law Anthony Newell Jr) Granddaughter - DeAngele' Miller McAdory - Grandson Amos McAdory III, Grandson Markel Newell, Grandson Mikel Newell, Sisters Stella and Gloria of Chicago, Arnette Jones of GulfPort Mississippi, Sara Jones Marshall of San Diego California, Brother Corneil Jones of Chicago and a host of nieces, nephews and love ones.
Denise proceeds in death with her parents the late L.D & Leola Jones, her Brother -Wayland Jones Sr, Sister- Marie Jones and Sister - Shirley Jones Boler.
Denise was a beautiful person, inside and out, classy, hardworking, honest and funny. She would help just about anyone in their time of need. She was everyone's favorite tsomething ,Sister, Auntie, Cousin etc. Her physical will be missed because of her smile but her spirit will live on because of her heart she gave to everyone she reached.
Her Celebration of Life will be held in January at RBC date ,TBA as we are being accompanied by family members coming from multiple states.
