With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Chardelle Patrice Spencer who passed away on February 21, 2025.
Chardelle Patrice Carter was born on April 27, 1978 at 4:27 pm, in Room 427 in Seattle, WA to Natalie Maxine Murray (Lockhart) and Craig Leonard Carter. She was a beautiful, smiling baby and full of joy. Her grandfather nicknamed her Dolly baby.
Chardelle came from a large, blended family. Her parents had a beautiful blended family of eight children, five boys and three girls, Chardelle was the middle girl.
Chardelle graduated from Lindbergh High School in Renton, WA then pursued further studies at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Sciences and a Masters in Health Administration from Phoenix University. Following her graduation from Eastern, she met and married the love of her life, Christopher Spencer. They created a beautiful, blended family. Chardelle adored and loved all of her children, Sakeyla, Ladaysha, Amoni and Aniya, Chris Jr and LaTasha. Chardelle loved her children! She poured into them the love of God, healthy habits in diet and mindset, and the importance of a good education.
Chardelle was a loving wife and mother, compassionate daughter and sister, and a loyal friend to many. She was an accomplished Hospital Administrator, advocate, warrior and a wonderful lady. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. She made every moment special with her family, and shared her wisdom and love freely.
She leaves to deeply mourn in her passing; her husband and life partner of 25 years Christopher Spencer, her parents Ricardo and Natalie Maxine Lockhart of Renton, WA; her daughters Sakeyla (Jonathan) Evans of Lakewood, WA; Ladaysha and Aniya Spencer of West Hills, CA, Latasha Spencer of Seattle; her sons Amoni Spencer of North Hollywood, CA and Christopher Spencer Jr of Seattle ; her grandchildren Messiah Sutton Evans, Ilyauna and Emilio Evans; brothers Derrick (Mauri) Lockhart of Covington, Mario (Lily) Lockhart of Marysville, WA, Donnell Pennewell of Seattle, WA, Dominique (Maribel) and Adrian Lockhart of North Hollywood, CA; sisters Kimberly (Victor) Fuller of Chicago, WA, Lorna (Jamie) Pennewell of Portsmouth, VA; lifelong friends Maria Garcia (Jerome) Ferguson of Riverside, CA and Angelica (Jose) Maldonado of Kent, WA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones, and friends all across the nation.
She leaves a legacy that is rich in love. She will be greatly and deeply missed.
A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at RoseHill Baptist Church in Seattle, WA. 7550 Martin Luther King Jr Way South, Seattle, WA 98118. With a Repass to follow.
