Carol Ann Kimbrough Flanagan Frank, born
·May 25, 1939, in Oklahoma City, passed away on July 18, 2024, at her home in Spring Hill, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Christopher Frank, her children Thomas Flanagan Ill (Louise), Shelley Carlson (Mike), Brian Flanagan (Jessica), and Tajh Taylor (Donna); her brother Kenneth Kimbrough (Ju-
neanne), sister Donna Kimbrough, and seven grandchildren. Carol was a distinguished nurse practitioner, earning her BSN from Howard University and MSN from Catholic University, and practiced for many years at Odessa Brown Children's Clinic in the Central District. She dedicated her career to serving underserved children and co-founded a sickle cell summer camp on Vashon Island. In retirement in Florida, she continued to enjoy
quilting, baking, and traveling. Donations in her memory may be made to the Metropolitan Seattle Sickle Cell Task Force or the Mary Mahoney Professional Nurses Organization.
