With love and gratitude, we honor the life of Bridgette Helen Hempstead, who was born in Sacramento, CA, on February 21, 1961, and passed away on December 12, 2024, at 63. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Bridgette’s life was defined by her unwavering faith in God and her dedication to serving others. As the founder of Cierra Sisters, she became a beacon of hope for those facing breast cancer, offering support, guidance, and spiritual encouragement. Through her work, she empowered countless individuals to face adversity with strength, faith, and resilience. Bridgette's joy was infectious, and her humor was a constant source of light for her family and friends. She lived a life full of love, adventure, and compassion, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and a community that loved her dearly. Bridgette’s spirit will live on through her work and the many lives she touched.
A Memorial service will be held from 2:00PM-4:00PM on 01/04/2024 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church
