Brenda Burns-Jimerson age 69 of Tacoma, WA passed away August 6, 2023, in her home. Brenda was born in Dallas, TX on February 7, 1954, to Ollie Jo and Johnny “Leahart” Burns. Brenda loved to cook, sing and entertain. She would help anyone who needed assistance whether it was a meal or a place to stay. She is survived by her husband Richard; her children; Cutie, JD and Ernie; bonus children; DeVonda and Johnny Darnell; six siblings; Ollie Sr, Alvin Sr, Carel, Bebely, Johnny Jr and Anthony Sr; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Jo and Leahart; Johnny Davis Sr, and De’John Davis. Services will be held September 2, 2023, at Holgate St. Church of Christ 2600 S Holgate St, Seattle, WA. Viewing is from 11-11:45; service will start at 12 pm.
