In Loving Memory of Blany Marie Bridges

Blany Marie Bridges began her journey on December 14, 1942. She was born in Union, Mississippi to Levon and Bernice McVeigh. Blany married Joseph Bridges in 1961 and the family relocated to Seattle, Washington in 1962. Blany’s love of family and zeal to make a better life for them powered her 40-year nursing career as a registered nurse. Blany’s journey was completed on June 8, 2024.

Blany is survived by her husband Joseph Bridges, her three children Joseph Bridges, Michael Bridges and Kelvin Bridges, her siblings Mary Davis, Charles Lindsey, Catherine Reed, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her celebration of life and memorial service will be held:
