In Loving Memory of Beatrice R. Holbert

Beatrice Renee Holbert was born November 25, 1956, in Seattle, WA, to Dorothy and Homer Durant. On the evening of December 31, 2023, she transitioned to join her Mother Dorothy, Father Homer, and Nephew Dante Durant in heaven.

Beatrice carried faith like a pocket tissue. Spreading the word and praying over others any chance she got. She believed strongly that no matter what “God will always provide what you need when you need it”

Her smile had the power to light up rooms and warm hearts. A silent healer, a prideful woman, a kind soul at the core. Her passion for cooking filled bellies in her home and in the community. She was admired by her peers and colleagues at every company for her talents and charisma.

She was love, faith, and pure light to those who got the chance to know her. A loving mother, caring sister, thoughtful Aunt, and a forever friend to us all. Her legacy continues through her seven children, seven siblings, grand/great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Greater Mt. Baker Missionary Baptist Church 2425 South Jackson St. Seattle, WA  98144. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Renton, WA.
