The Sunset for Adolphus Mines Jr, on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Adolphus was born in Seattle Washington on September 22, 1945, to Adolphus Mines Sr. and to Mildred Mary Brown(King), Adolphus grew up and went to school in the Central Area of Seattle, where he graduated from Garfield High School in 1964. After graduating Adolphus spent some time in the Air Force before he was honorably discharged. From there Adolphus spent most of his working days employed as a pipefitter/plumber with Local 32. Adolphus leaves behind 5 kids Eric Gordon (Savannah,GA), Yolanda McComb, Nicole Mines, Adolphus Mines III, and Herber(Alex)Mines, his sisters Anita and Rita grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Adolphus was preceded in death by his parents Adolphus MInes Sr. and Mildred Mary King and his brother Ronnie Joe Mines.
