How should Madrona change and grow?

The City of Seattle has proposed a plan that would increase the urban density in Madrona, and other areas across the city. Madrona is seeing significant changes being proposed (see map below) and we want to make sure community members understand the proposal, and can leave feedback in the commenting tools the city has provided. The city will close the proposal for public comment on Dec. 20th! Learn more about the city’s proposal.

The image above shows the density increases/changes the city has proposed for Madrona. Dark brown sections are areas where the city is proposing density increases that make 4-5 story apartment buildings a possibility in those areas. Larger commercial buildings would be a possibility where you see orange. All green word bubbles are comments other community members have written.
