Tammy M. Williamson was the life of any party—funny, energetic, loving, and a person who would always keep it real. She loved to support her children and grandchildren, cheered passionately for the Seahawks, and was a Gonzaga basketball superfan! Tammy also loved to dance, crochet, and enjoyed playing cards, winning at the casinos, and attending family events in her social time.
Born and raised in the Central District of Seattle, WA, to Tommy Lee and Evelyn Williamson (Strand), she was the fourth of seven children. The family eventually moved to South Seattle, where Tammy graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1979.
As a long-time customer service representative, she served her community by supporting both large and small businesses. Over the past 20+ years, she aided in the growth of Delivery Express and our family business, Local Transports, LLC.
She was our family historian, bridging the gap from our past into our future to ensure the family legacy continues.
Continuing her legacy are her daughter, Champale Hickman; son-in-law, Nolan Hickman; grandchildren, Nolan, Nyah, and Noah; son, LeRoy Gibbs, Jr.; and long-time partner, LeRoy Gibbs, Sr. She is also survived by her siblings, Tyrone Williamson, Toni Williamson (Addison), Tonya Williamson (LeBarron), and Todd Williamson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Lee and Evelyn Marie Williamson (Strand); her brother, Tommy Williamson; and her sister, Tina Williamson.
Tammy desired for her life to be celebrated, and we will continue to live and honor her wishes. In lieu of flowers, you may make a charitable contribution to Tammy's grandsons' non-profit organization, The Give Back. Donations can be made by visiting www.thegivebackfnd.com/donate.
A memorial will be held at The Hive (150 S Tobin St, Renton, WA 98057) on
