*Reverend Dr. Carey Anderson, Pastor, Seattle's First AME Church will be the speaker on the MLKCC Black History Month Awards Celebration and Reception on Saturday.
*Dr. Maxine Mimms talks about the recipient of an award named in her honor. That person is Mary Lude Flowers a longtime advocate for people in need.
*Larry Gossett will present an award named in his honor to the Chair of the Tacoma Pierce County Black Collective, Lyle Quasim, who served as Secretary of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), the states Mental Health Director, and the President of Bates Technical College.
*Josephine Howell, Chandler Williams, and Butch Harrison will provide entertainment for the MLKCC Black History Awards Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, February 25.
