Confidence comes in many forms
By Chardonnay Beaver
Choosing to pursue personal development automatically tests your confidence. Whether you’re developing socially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, or financially ( all of the -ally), there’s stages you undergo.
More often than not, when we face uncomfortable or unfamiliar moments our confidence is tested. What we place our confidence in and how we estimate our ability, more specifically.
Though confidence is commonly identified with boisterous courage and boldness, it comes in many forms.
Confidence is the outward manifestation of faith. Confidence and belief are besties, when you see one you see the other. So, confidence is void of humility; these two attributes help us to handle success and failures gracefully.
Here’s some forms of confidence we don’t often consider:
Self confidence
Social confidence
Emotional confidence
Physical confidence
Spiritual confidence
Situational Confidence
Though there’s some overlap between these listed forms, I encourage confidence.
Words of Wisdom by Char of The Week: This week, examine where you place your confidence. What are your core beliefs and how do they influence your confidence level? Confidence isn’t about knowing what to do in every situation. Rather, confidence empowers us to face things forward — believing that the outcome will work for our greater good.
