Seattle, WA -Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to provide input and participate in the future of the Madrona Playground Play Area, as part of our ongoing commitment to creating vibrant and engaging public spaces. Please join us on Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Madrona Playfield Shelter House, 3211 E. Spring St, light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

At this meeting, the design team will review the play area design options, with a formal presentation beginning at 10 a.m. Please take our survey to review the design options and choose your favorite! https://seattle.surveymonkey.com/r/MadronaPlayArea

This play area renovation includes upgrading the play equipment and reimagining the sandbox area to increase usage. The project will also improve the pathway paving to ensure an accessible passage to and within the play area. Additionally, a design will be created to provide a cover for the stage. The health of the cherry tree grove will be assessed, and necessary enhancements will be made.
