Sunrise: January 21, 1954 - Sunset: September 26, 2024. Robert passed away on September 26, 2024, in Puyallup, WA. He was born in Evansville, Indiana, to Mitchell and Mary Chaney. Robert was raised in Seattle, WA, and attended Garfield High School. He was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Mary Chaney, and his sister Melba Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, his sons Maurice Barron and Marcus Chaney (Seattle, WA) his stepson, Jesse Spencer (Marinette, Wisconsin); stepdaughters Latasha Barron, Miesha Obiechina, Torrie Webster (Seattle, WA) 16 grandchildren, including the new addition Chaney Alexis, brother Samuel Chaney (Evansville, Indiana), longtime friend Curtis Hopkins and a host of nieces and nephews. We are very thankful for the support and love from friends and family during this time. Your kindness has been a great comfort.
