Celebrating the life of Roxanne M. Brown-White

Roxanne M. Brown-White was born in Seattle to Ellen Marie Hall and Freddie Brown and was the fourth of six children. She graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1973. After high school, she embarked on her career in Finance to raise her daughter. Roxanne married Douglas White in 1979 and a few years later, that union produced a son. Before retiring from the banking industry, Roxanne worked for Seafirst Bank/ Bank of America for 24 years. Then, retired from the University of Washington in 2022 after 20 years in their employ.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers Freddie Jr., Leroy, and Robert.

Roxanne is survived by her daughter Mikel Smith (Mikki), son Douglas T. White (Theo), grandsons Douglas T. White Jr., Anthony White, Dae' Von White, August White, DaMari White, and a host of friends, relatives, and extended family.
