Celebrating the life of Calvin E. Cummings (FIFTY CAL)

Calvin Eugene Cummings

12/09/1974 - 01/06/2025

Calvin Eugene Cummings (aka Fifty Cal) was born in Seattle, WA, on December 9, 1974, to Betty Hall Cummings and Homer Eugene Gardner.

He developed a love for music early on, learning piano and drums from his mother, and eventually created beats for local artists. Calvin also shared a passion for classic cars, enjoying rides with family and friends in their supercharged vehicles.

After graduating from Nathan Hale HS, he began restoring classic cars and later became a Transit Operator, working for Access Paratransit and King County Metro for over 21 years. Known for his charismatic smile and compassion, Calvin was a mentor to many in his community.

He is survived by his wife, Abby Cummings; three children, Zachary Weston, Mailia Brown, and Calise Cummings; and three siblings, Velda Alexander, Tracy Harris, and Vanessa Harris-Tubbs, along with many relatives
