CDCPDA Hosts “Springing Forward: Brunch for Black Economic Brilliance” to Support Black Entrepreneurship and Economic Development

Seattle, WA – The Central District Community Preservation and Development Authority (CDCPDA) proudly presents Springing Forward: Brunch for Black Economic Brilliance, a transformative fundraising event on April 19, 2025, at Amazon Frontier in Seattle.

The CDCPDA, established by the WA State Legislature in 2019, is dedicated to mitigating the impacts of gentrification and economic displacement by investing in Black-led business development, workforce training, and community advocacy. Funds from this event will directly support the McKinney Center for Community & Economic Development (MCCED), a newly restored hub for entrepreneurship, education, and cultural preservation in the Central District.

Attendees will also experience Rooted in Legacy: The Art & Vendor Marketplace, spotlighting Black artists and small businesses.

Join us in reclaiming, restoring, and reinvesting in Black economic excellence.
